The TV anime adaptation of Fuyu Higashi's "Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Oota-kun" has been announced, revealing cast, staff, a "Spring" visual, and the first PV. Kashiwada-san, who never shows her emotions, will be voiced by Akane Fujita, and Oota-kun, who wears his heart on his sleeve, by Kyohei Natsume. Hirose Yuuya and Horikane Souhei will play classmates. Tomohiro Kamiya directs, Michiko Yokote handles series composition, and Naoto Nakamura designs characters. The anime is produced by STUDIO POLON. A promotional campaign and stage event at AnimeJapan 2025 are also planned.
