Special Video

A stylized illustration in muted teal tones depicts a young boy with pale skin, dark hair peeking out from under a large top hat, and large expressive eyes looking upward. He wears a dark suit jacket and an orange bow tie, and sits perched on a dark, textured rock formation. His shoes are dark and appear to be boots. The background is a muted teal, textured to look like a night sky with scattered light specks. Below the boy, in yellow lettering with stylized Japanese characters, is a title that appears to be the name of a film or play, translating to "The Boy of the Clock Tower". The overall artistic style is reminiscent of vintage children's book illustration or perhaps Art Nouveau, with a slightly melancholic and whimsical atmosphere.

The sequel to the animated film "Entotsu Machi no Poupelle", titled "Poupelle of Chimney Town: The Promised Clock Tower", will be released in Spring 2026. Based on the book "Tic Tac, the Promised Clock Tower", the sequel promises new adventures for Lubicchi and his friends. The original team remains, with  Akihiro Nishino writing and executive producing, and Yusuke Hirota directing, under STUDIO4℃. Nishino has also released a new drawing of Lubicchi and a video of the creative process. Presale tickets featuring the new design have already begun.
