The TV anime "Mechanical Marie", based on Akimoto Aki's work, will premiere this fall. Nao Touyama as Marie and Haruki Ishiya as Arthur. The story features Marie, a former genius martial artist, and Arthur, a wealthy heir. Marie, acting as Arthur's robot maid, hides that she is human. Arthur trusts only Marie. The anime is directed by Junji Nishimura, with series composition by Mariko Kunisawa, character design by Youko Kikuchi, and music by Yasuharu Takanashi & Johannes Nilsson. Animation is by Zero-G x Liber.
