The TV anime The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei, a prequel to Hyakki YakĹŤ, will debut in April 2025. Set in 1948 Tokyo, the supernatural mystery follows high schooler Kanna Kusakabe and her enigmatic teacher Akihiko Chuzenji as they face eerie occurrences. Pony Canyon unveiled the main cast: Kaori Maeda as Kanna and Katsuyuki Konishi as Chuzenji, with Toshiki Kameyama directing sound and MONACA composing the music.
