A new 'Lupin III' anime movie was announced, set for 2025. The teaser trailer was released, and it will be the first 2D movie in the series in 30 years since Lupin III: Dead or Alive (1996). The movie will be called Lupin the IIIrd the Movie and will be in theaters in Japan in 2025.
A longer teaser will be shown after the screening of the 1979 movie Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro on November 29.
The main voice actors, Kanichi Kurita, Akio Ootsuka, Miyuki Sawashiro, Daisuke Namikawa, and Kouichi Yamadera, return to their roles.
