Outline:  Winter 2025: I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class

Hello, everyone! Welcome to Weirdly Wired!
In this video, I’ll begin the seasonal guide for Winter 2025. I’ll focus on creating short videos for each anime, and at the end of the month, I’ll release a single video compiling all the previous ones.

If you're watching and haven’t subscribed yet, make sure to subscribe to receive new content and support the channel’s growth.

Today, I’ll be talking about the anime “I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class.”

SYNOPSIS

Saitou Saijou, a high school student, ends up marrying his classmate Akane Sakuramori, the one girl he dislikes the most—his sworn enemy in class. With both of them wanting to keep their marriage a secret, they constantly clash as newlyweds. But as they spend more time together, they begin to open up, enjoying each other’s company and understanding one another better. Saijou uncovers Akane's adorable side, while Akane starts realizing the feelings she had buried deep inside. Their journey of learning to be honest with each other and navigating their new life together is full of awkward moments, humor, and unexpected tenderness.

STAFF

Director: Hiroyuki Ooshima
Hiroyuki has experience working as an episode director and key animator in several productions, but his portfolio as a main director is still relatively short. Some of the works he has contributed to include Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Angel Beats!, Kill la Kill, and Nekomonogatari: Kuro.

Sound Director: Ootera Fumihiko
Ootera is relatively new to sound direction, with only a few titles under his belt so far.

Song Performance: Hinaki Yano
Active as a voice actress since 2019, Yano has already gained significant experience in the field.

STUDIO

The studio may not be widely known for major productions or animation excellence, but the anime’s style aligns well with their experience. This suggests they might deliver a consistent work without major challenges.

Some of the anime they’ve worked on include Kiniro Mosaic, Shuumatsu no Harem, and Tsurezure Children.

VOICE ACTORS

For the protagonists, we have Shougo Sakata and Hinaki Yano.
Shougo Sakata, who voices the male protagonist, is known for playing supporting characters in various projects but recently gained recognition as a lead in Chainsaw Man.
Meanwhile, Hinaki Yano, who voices the female protagonist, has built her career with notable roles in anime like Wonder Egg Priority, Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol, and Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.

FINAL CONSIDERATION

While the staff isn’t exceptional, it also doesn’t raise significant concerns, hinting at a potentially average result. The studio, on the other hand, is expected to deliver something acceptable within their capabilities.

The synopsis suggests a fun and engaging story, but the final impact will depend on the execution by the studio and staff. The voice actors are experienced, and their performances already give charm to the female characters, while the male protagonist seems generic – although it’s too early to judge based solely on the previews.

Speaking of previews, the animation shown so far is limited, with little movement beyond the characters' eyes and mouths.

My recommendation: If you enjoy light romantic comedies to relax and have a few laughs, it’s worth giving this anime a chance. However, if you’re looking for high production quality or something more sophisticated, this might not meet your expectations.
