Staff
Takashi Naoya - Director: Takashi has some experience as a director, but hasn't worked on any notable anime. Most of his career has been spent as a Key Animator and in other related roles. He's also worked on ecchi and comedy anime, which are secondary themes here, but there’s nothing particularly noteworthy to mention here.
Here’s a chart of the positions he’s held:
Takahiro Fujimoto - Sound Director: A complete newcomer. On the other hand, Ijou Okuda is quite skilled in sound effects, with experience on works like Mushishi and Angel Beats!
Tatsuya Takahashi - Series Composition: Although he's worked on several projects, there aren't many standout ones, and the more famous ones were only episodes he contributed to.
Studio
The studio’s animation quality isn’t particularly high, but it’s worth mentioning that they’ve worked on anime like Sakugan, Fairy Tail, and Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka ?.
Voice Actors
Yuuya Hirose voicing Köinzell
Hina Tachibana voicing Peepi
Nothing too special here. Most of the voice cast are newcomers or have little experience, having mostly worked on supporting roles, so there isn’t much to highlight.
Final Consideration
Synopsis: It simply introduces the protagonist and his sword, along with potential antagonists, without revealing much detail. It’s a fairly common premise.
Staff: The staff doesn’t seem particularly strong, though I’d say the director will likely deliver when it comes to action scenes, and possibly some ecchi and comedy, given his background as a key animator, and what the studio has to offer.
Studio: They’ve done well on a few anime, but overall, the studio's track record isn't very promising.
Voice Actors: They’ll likely deliver an average performance, as expected for this kind of production.
Preview: Despite the studio's overall weaknesses, the director seems to know how to allocate resources for more polished scenes. He also compensates for the lack of complex animation with great camera angles. Another highlight is the sound effects that really stand out. As for the characters, none of them seemed to have much charisma.
Conclusion: If you’re looking for pure entertainment, give the first few episodes a chance. The staff will deliver the basics for an action anime, but if you're hoping for something more, it's probably not worth your time.
