White Fox is producing the anime adaptation of Busamen Gachi Fighter (Uglymug, Epicfighter), the manga by Ryou Hiromatsu and Wosamu Kouzuki. Announced by Bushiroad Move, the adaptation revealed lead voice actor Junichi Suwabe (No Guns Life, Great Pretender), a teaser visual, and Egg Firm as the production partner.
Originally serialized on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website (2015–2022), the story transitioned into manga form via Monthly Big Gangan (2017–2020). The final volume launched in February 2021, and a sequel manga debuts December 25. Square Enix’s Manga UP! app began publishing the English version in February 2023.
Synopsis:
Falsely accused and ruined, Shigeru Yoshioka, 34, isolates himself from society. Stumbling upon a gateway to another world, he sacrifices his appearance for unmatched power and begins a new life as an "Absolute God."
